Well, the month of February is over and as usual, we are seeing a ton of fun in the industry. There are legitimate players trying to make a better name for themselves while others just continue to abuse the world of online dating for the adult community. Some are even big and brave enough to scold their affiliates for marketing in certain ways while they themselves take part in those exact activities. I guess they have found that too much competition in the same underhanded marketing activities is just not good. In the space at large we have seen conferences this month. One attendee at one such conference was nice enough to provide some insight. From what the wizard is told, there seems to be a lot of hot air and confusion blowing around at this particular conference. Major players that would rather rant about the decline in user satisfaction than to improve their systems and service offerings. In fact, the conference organizer even got a few shots to the chin for some of the speakers. One speaker was apparently so convinced of his own perfection that he forgot to shower that day!!
